What would vegan escargot even be made of? It seems like the hardest possible food to emulate in vegan form. I am open to suggestions as to recipes for this, and if there is a good one I will even make it and post pictures. THIS IS SERIOUS.

If they can make vegan bacon, they can make vegan snails. XP yuck.
I dunno, because it’s like bacon has just two or three parts: (1) white fat (2) pink meat (3) red crust. Vegan bacon just has to kind of have a three-part structure and taste smoky to get a pass. CONTRARIWISE, snails have like tiny legs and organs and antennae and EYES and ADORABLE LITTLE SOULS, and it just seems like a very difficult construction to emulate in vegan-friendly form! Not to mention that escargot is soaked in butter. Vegan escargot just seems like the saddest idea for a meal.
