I was too close to this story, and as such, it whammied me. It's so deftly done, and if I really try to take myself and my past out of my reactions to the story, I think readers will have the same reaction. It's poingnant, has an edge, and leaves you realizing that even after someone passes, those "messages in a bottle" don't ever quite say enough.

This was one of my favourites. I loved the idea of the story, and the writing was fantastic. I kept stopping to read things aloud to my partner.
