These machines would be eyestalks on pneumatic pipes that peer into the information cloud. They would conjoin the real world with the world of data, turning our everyday objects into infinite origins for further art and knowledge.

Embed these in spectacles so that no one else can see what you are reading or programming. No more screens. Just the world, the cloud, stats, dreams, and dark arcana.

We do not need a "metaverse." This is the metaverse. You are already an avatar.
